STILL thinking of buying a home or condo in Naples, Florida? Call me next year.  That’s if you want to know exactly how the local real estate market will be at this time next year. 

Many potential buyers have been talking about it, sitting on the fence for a couple of years and watching the bottom of the market come and go.  Some buyers just forget the goal is to actually purchase the right home, not analyze the market and keep wanting to know where it is heading every year – that is part of the process, But Not The Goal.   It is only with the aid of a crystal ball and some pure luck that anyone is able to buy precisely at the bottom of the market.  You have heard about (or perhaps experienced firsthand) the increase in activity and the shrinking inventory of homes for sale.  If you actually want to own a place here in Naples, then let’s get together and make it happen.  Still want to wait to see how the market evolves?  No problem – just expect to pay more for the same property next year.

So far since January 1st (in only 3 weeks), a total of 1,450 properties in the Naples area have gone into “Pending/Under Contract” or “Pending with Contingenicies”.   Do the words “supply and demand” ring a bell?  Guess what happens next.
