We have had a solid season in Naples real estate and the summer months have been active in certain price ranges for single family homes. It is always interesting to note (and learn from it) where the sales activity is and why buyers purchase in particular neighborhoods. There has been a lot of activity for homes listed between $400,000 and $600,000 over the past several months. Contracts are being written by “Baby Boomers” thinking ahead about retirement, families relocating to the area because of employment, investors seeking a return from rental income and appreciation, move up buyers as well as people downsizing and simplifying.
Naples Park, Camden Lakes, Marbella Lakes, Wilshire Lakes and Barrington Cove also had their share. So many factors would explain why these communities have done well this summer.
