In fact, we’ve been busy during the last two months that has been boosted by people evacuating from high tax states and metropolitan areas. Others recognize that they deserve the Florida lifestyle along with the “pros” of establishing residency in Florida. Whatever the motivation, we have seen almost 1,000 real estate closings and properties going under contract in the past 60 days – that is just for single family homes. The condominum activity isn’t far behind with another 600 condos settling or going into a pending status.
Where are the contracts being written? The hot areas have been the Vanderbilt Beach area for both single family canal homes and condos, investment properties in Naples Park, Pelican Bay (homes, condos and several villas) as well as properties in Park Shore, Moorings, Coquina Sands. Nothing slows down high end neighborhoods including Olde Naples, Port Royal and Aqualane Shores.
