Farmers Markets – Naples and Bonita Springs

We are lucky enough to have many active local farmers market venues in the area and each one offers something different. Variety is the spice of life when it comes to farmers markets. See below and click the links (each title) for locations and information.

THIRD STREET SOUTH: During season (November through April), the street is closed to vehicles between Broad Avenue and 13th Avenue South so this collection of vendors, musicians, baked goods, fresh produce, organics, seafood, coffee, jams and jellies, prepared foods, and much more takes over. Stroll along from tent to tent, table to table and soak up the vibe. Dog friendly, pedestrian friendly, and bicycle friendly. Off season, the market sets up behind Tommy Bahama. Open and active every Saturday morning from 7:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

VANDERBILT FARMERS MARKET: One of our favorites sets up shop in the Galleria at southeast corner of Vanderbilt Beach Road and Airport-Pulling Road (2355 Vanderbilt Beach Road) on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Almost 100 vendors selling fruits, organic vegetables, baked goods, ethnic foods, homemade dips and salsa, clothes, shoes, children’s items, French specialties, dog treats, jewelry, pies, hats, juices, soaps, crafts, flowers and plants, Cuban coffee, handmade china, local honey, linens, street food, and lots more.

PINE RIDGE ROAD FARMERS MARKET: Open on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. all year at 3370 Pine Ridge Road in Naples. Large selection of gourmet foods, fruits and vegetables, international flavors, artists, fair trade items, arts and crafts, flowers, baked goods and pastries, handcrafted products, and more. (Coming soon they are adding a venue at the corner of corner of Pine Ridge Rd. and Airport Rd. in Naples, Florida in the Ridgeport Plaza, formerly known as the Bed Bath & Beyond Plaza, 5351 Airport-Pulling Road, Naples, Florida 34109. This one will operate December through April from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.) Check their pet policy by clicking their link above.

PROMENADE at BONITA BAY: This local farmers market goes from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays in October through April offering fruits, vegetables, artisan baked goods, flowers and plants, seafood, along with many other local crafted products. It is set up in the parking lot of Promenade adjacent to the Bonita Bay community in Bonita Springs.

MARCO ISLAND FARMERS MARKET: Operating seasonally on Wednesdays from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Veterans Community Park, 901 Park Avenue, Marco Island, Florida 34145. Works by local artists and crafts people, honey, sauces, fruits, garden vegetables, jewelry, kettle corn vendor, chocolates, herbs, seafood, baked goods, and soups. November 15 to April 10, 2024.

SANIBEL FARMERS MARKET: Make a day of it, make your way to Sanibel island and visit the farmers market on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. (October to May). On Tuesdays, you can stretch it by going out to Capitiva Island to enjoy their market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (November to April) located at the northern tip within South Seas Resort. Shop local produce, fresh bread, seafood, and flowers. You can also find meats, organics, cheese, prepared foods, honey, smoothies, and so much more.
