Pelican Bay is situated between two world-class vacation beach resorts, The Naples Grande Beach Resort at the southern border and the famous Ritz-Carlton Naples Resort to the north. Also framing the Pelican Bay community is a third hotel, The Inn at Pelican Bay.

Beaches & Sailing

Pelican Bay has 3 parking areas for beach access, if you choose not to walk or bike to one of 3 strategically based, street-accessible tram stations. Two boardwalks provide easy beach access by walking, jogging, or riding 8 passenger electrical trams that stop at 8 berm stations for pickups.

Beach facilities, besides food and beverage, include sundecks, restrooms and showers, and attendants to set up your choice of beachside chaise lounge, beach chair, umbrella, or cabana. Morning outdoor fitness classes on the covered decks of both north and south beaches are also available.

Ride your bike or rollerblade along the scenic berms that separate Pelican Bay’s uplands from its tranquil bays and estuaries, and you’ll discover Pelican Bay is the ultimate destination for a day of nature and waterfront wonders.

Sailboats are available to residents through the Pelican Bay Foundation’s Sailing Club for experienced sailors to glide along our shoreline through sparkling Gulf waters. The Foundation

The Pelican Bay Foundation, Inc., was established to serve as the master homeowner’s association for Pelican Bay, and is comprised of a resident-based Board of Directors and elected officers. The Foundation oversees and manages Pelican Bay’s common areas and amenities, and prides itself on unmatched service to the community’s residents. The master association covenants and separate neighborhood homeowners’ and condominium associations within Pelican Bay ensure an unparalleled quality of life and optimum preservation of the community’s value and appeal.

Golf & Tennis

GOLF: Championship golf on the 27-hole, Arthur Hills designed golf course is the perfect way to spend the day for members of the private golf club in Pelican Bay. Set among shimmering lakes and pristine nature preserves, this challenging layout offers endless hours of enjoyment for those who truly love the game. Afterwards, enjoy a refreshing libation or exquisite dinner in the world-class clubhouse. TENNIS:  Pelican Bay is home to more than 18 tennis courts, with two fully stocked and professionally managed tennis pro shops, one at The Commons and one beside the Pelican Bay Community Center at Hammock Oak. A wide array of tennis clinics, private lessons, round robins, special events, and organized tennis leagues are available to residents, providing everything you need to keep your game at its peak. From junior players to the advanced tennis buff, Pelican Bay’s tennis programs offer amenities designed to suit every skill level.

Shops & Restaurants

For desirable beach dining, Pelican Bay itself offers residents a variety of dining options sure to please any taste at four beachside restaurants. The Sandpiper Restaurant and The Beach Cafe are at the north beach, and the Sandbar Restaurant, Sunset Café, and South Beach Store & Ice Cream parlor are at the south beach.

The Sunset Cafe – This screened eatery is located beside the Sandbar Restaurant at the south beach and is the perfect spot to grab a fast continental breakfast, snack, or lunch while enjoying a day of fun at the beach. For hours of service, call 596-4799.

Marker 36 – A complete renovation from the ground up was completed at the north beach area and renamed Marker 36  where The Sandpiper Cafe and The Beach Cafe once stood. With even more opportunity to take in a tropical sunset and listening to the surf, the Marker 36 offers more restaurant seating indoors and out as well as a much bigger bar with panoramic beach views for everyone. The menus are all new but still have a variety to satisfy beachgoers looking for a snack, luncheons, and those making a reservation for the full dinner menu. The Sandbar –  The original south beach restaurant and it is still a favorite social spot for Pelican Bay residents and guests. The Sand Bar is perfect for those who prefer smaller, more intimate casual dining, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Gulf breezes and sunsets are included! The South Beach Store and Ice Cream Parlor – A short walk down the south deck past the beach access disability ramp. Here, you may pick up distinctive beach wear, sundries, treasures, and delicious “homemade” Royal Scoop ice cream, a cool treat on a warm, sunny day.

The Waterside Shops are located at the southeast corner of Pelican Bay. Distinctive luxury-brand shopping at some of the world’s premier retailers, and restaurants serving food from casual to upscale, can all be found at The Waterside Shops, a Naples landmark. Barnes & Noble bookstore, with a Starbuck’s Café, is also located at Waterside for those who enjoy reading, and meeting neighbors for an indoor or outdoor coffee break. A short drive from Pelican Bay is an array of popular shopping venues; The Village on Venetian Bay and Neapolitan Way are just to the south. Artis—Naples

Pelican Bay is home to the widely acclaimed Artis—Naples, a cultural icon and world-class performing arts venue. “The Phil,” as it is often referred to locally, is a nonprofit organization founded to enlighten, educate and entertain, by presenting the very best of both the visual and performing arts, through engagements by renowned and internationally known artists and its very own orchestra and chorales.

Each season over 400 events are presented including classical music, pops, Broadway shows, ballet, opera, and concerts by celebrity recording artists. The 200-seat Daniels Pavilion theater offers an intimate setting for shows, music, special events or lectures. The Artis—Naples also has four art galleries.

The Naples Museum of Arts

The three-story visual arts center features 15 galleries, which display world-class paintings, sculptures, photography, drawings, and other art mediums. There is also a museum shop and a resource center within the building.

The Naples Philharmonic Orchestra provides Southwest Florida with eclectic sounds of classical and pops concerts, featuring world-class soloists and conductors and accomplished musicians from around the world.

Oakmont Park

Ridgewood Park

Clam Pass Park

Located at the southwest end of the Naples Grande Resort, this Collier County public access beach is a haven for hotel residents and Collier County residents or visitors. There is a tram for guests to provide easy beach access, and Clam Pass Park also offers a snack bar, restroom facilities, and picnic areas.
