From “Only in Naples,” here is an update on the new location and schedule for the upcoming “Cars on Fifth” in February 2027. The city council has approved it now so, it’s happening!
Cars on 5th just revealed what its first weekend OFF 5th is actually going to look like… and this is a completely different animal 
After more than two decades of taking over Fifth Avenue South, the 2027 show is officially headed to Bayshore Drive after Naples City Council denied the event’s original permit application for downtown Naples earlier this summer.
Now we’re finally getting a look at what that means.
On Saturday, February 6, more than ONE MILE of Bayshore Drive is expected to transform into the new Cars on 5th, with 750+ exotic, rare, vintage and classic cars lining the corridor from 10 AM to 4 PM.
The new layout is expected to include multiple display areas, a dedicated VIP section, the duPont REGISTRY Village, vendors, Bayshore restaurants and a transportation trolley helping move guests throughout the much longer show footprint.
And one longtime Cars on 5th tradition is staying: the End of Show Drive-Off, giving spectators a chance to watch the cars actually fire up and leave the show together.
The rest of the weekend is growing around it too.
Thursday, Feb. 4: Jay Leno Charity Comedy Night at Hertz Arena
Friday, Feb. 5: The fan-favorite JetPort Reception returns to Northern Jet with hypercars, luxury aircraft, cocktails and food from Vincenzo Betulia.
Saturday, Feb. 6: Cars on 5th Naples Bayshore from 10 AM–4 PM, followed by an exclusive after-show party
Sunday, Feb. 7: Rally for Heroes
Also new for 2027 is the Moda Luxe Collective, which organizers say will bring automotive, fashion, entertainment and elevated hospitality experiences across the four-day weekend.
Tickets and car registration are officially open, and organizers say wristband sales will be limited this year in an effort to create a more controlled experience. Proceeds benefit the Patty Baker Humane Society of Naples.
So after 20+ years downtown, “Cars on 5th” is about to become a mile-long Bayshore event that isn’t actually on 5th anymore.
